A gentle spring breeze ripples across the flooded rice fields,
where the mountains quietly reflect upon the clear water.
The grandfather plants each young seedling
with calm and practiced hands.
Beside him,
the young boy and the young girl carefully follow,
placing each tender shoot into the rich earth.
Every seedling is small.
It bends softly with the wind.
Yet with rain,
sunlight,
and patient care,
it will one day become a field of golden rice.

The seeds we plant today
