異 – Different | Kanji Art
Beneath the cherry blossoms at night,
a white egret and a radiant peacock
share the same branch.
One is the color of silence.
The other, the color of pride.
Different in form.
Different in presence.
Yet both alive under the same sky.
The kanji 異 means difference —
but not rejection.
It is the coexistence
of what does not match.
Because they are different,
the world becomes richer.
This is “Other.”
This is 異.
